Health Canada hires administrative assistants nationwide and you don’t need a degree to apply

If you are considering a career with the Government of Canada, this opportunity could be for you. Health Canada is hiring across the country right now and you don’t need a degree to apply for that many positions.

Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) are currently recruiting employees for various administrative positions.

Federal agencies say they’re looking for people who want to “start or grow your administrative career.”

There are a variety of jobs available, including positions at the CR-05, AS-01, AS-02 and AS-03 groups and levels.

Salaries for these roles vary by level, but information on how much you can expect to earn in these roles can be found online.

To be eligible to apply, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or someone residing in Canada.

A degree is not required for the jobs listed, although a high school diploma or an employer-approved alternative is required.

Experience criteria vary by specific role, but generally ideal candidates will have experience providing administrative support services, tracking the progress of certain projects, and monitoring ongoing actions.

You don’t have to choose a specific role to apply for, just submit an application online and Health Canada and PHAC will review it for “one, some or all advertised groups and levels”.

The deadline to apply is June 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
