The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) has issued a call for applications to fill five vacancies for the post of Senior Division Clerk and two vacancies for the post of Administrative Assistant. Application forms are available on the official website and candidates can apply before January 17, 2022.

Applicants with a Bachelor of Arts / Science / Commerce degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in total; knowledge of computer applications such as word, excel, power point, internet, tally / ERP etc. are eligible to apply.

Candidates applying for a clerk position must have 3 years of post graduation experience in managing settlement / administration / accounts / stores and procurement issues in a state / central government / autonomous institutions / sector companies public / corporate sector reputation.

Applicants for an administrative assistant position should have 8 years of experience in dealing with settlement / administration / accounts / wounds and procurement issues in a state / central government. Department / Institution / Research institute / Autonomous body / Public sector company / University / Reputable company sector, including 05 years of regular service in the salary scale of the salary matrix Level 4 of VII CPC or equivalent (Rs. 5200-20200 in PB 1 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 / – of VI CPC), with knowledge of computer applications such as word, excel, power point, internet, tally etc.


Applicants will be selected on the basis of an initial selection, a written exam and a skills test.
