Maggie Malone, CEO of GoSafe48, said: “It has been an amazing few weeks, with increasing demand for our services, especially in light of the Omicron crisis. Unfortunately, all indicators indicate that there will be a real need to step up testing in the coming weeks, so we have been asked to support the efforts of the HSE to defeat this virus and are setting up three centers on their behalf. Over the past year we have been successful in recruiting excellent staff for our PCR and Rapid Antigen testing centers in Dublin and we look forward to doing the same at Kildare as we grow nationwide. “
This is a major development for the company, which has 65 employees since its creation more than 18 months ago. GoSafe48 hopes to soon be able to test up to a thousand people per day at its new center in Naas. Full details of the locations will be available on their website and through HSE channels as soon as the centers are operational.
Along with these new centers, GoSafe48 will continue to operate its bases in Dublin, where rapid and inexpensive COVID testing with results in 4 to 8 hours is available. GoSafe48 has bases in North and South Dublin as well as in the city center and has a limited number of Antigen tests available on Christmas Day for travelers. Their full rapid PCR and rapid antigen services will be available during the remainder of the Christmas season at all three centers in Dublin.
